Tok can be accessed primarily by driving from Anchorage or Fairbanks. It is 200 miles southeast from Fairbanks and approximately 300 miles northeast of Anchorage. It can also be accessed from the interior of the Yukon Territory and SE Alaska via Haines and traveling through the Yukon Territory. It gets mighty cold in the interior of Alaska during the winter months so if you are traveling in this area, ensure that you are well prepared by bringing winter and survival gear.
